Hohō (Speed Techniques)

Hohō is an important skill for most Shinigami. The agility and speed of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through mastery of it, concentration, and training. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukidō. Shunpo (Flash Step) is the most commonly used Hohō technique. However, there are variations even within Shunpo and other Hohō techniques that only master Hohō practitioner can use.

Tier 1:
Name – Shunpo
Rank – Tier 1
Cost – 20 Reiatsu
Description – The user expends reiatsu in order to drastically increase their speed. At the very beginning stages it takes a lot of the user to use this technique, and you do not travel very far. You gain +10% (rounded up) of your speed when using this technique.

Tier 2:
Name – Shunpo
Rank – Tier 2
Cost – 15 Reiatsu
Description – The user expends reiatsu in order to drastically increase their speed. At the normal level the technique is difficult to use consistently in battle, but not impossible to use a couple of times. You gain +25% (rounded up) of your speed using this technique

Tier 3:
Name – Shunpo
Rank – Tier 3
Cost – 10 Reiatsu
Description – The user expends reiatsu in order to drastically increase their speed. At the normal level the technique is difficult to use consistently in battle, but not impossible to use a couple of times. You gain +50% (rounded up) of your speed using this technique

Tier 4:
Name – Shunpo
Rank – Tier 4
Cost – 5 Reiatsu
Description – The user expends reiatsu in order to drastically increase their speed. At the normal level the technique is difficult to use consistently in battle, but not impossible to use a couple of times. You gain +100% (rounded up) of your speed using this technique

Tier 5:

Name – Senka
Rank – Tier 5
Cost – 40 Reiatsu
Description – Senka (Flash Blossom): a special Shunpo technique where one moves to their opponents back. Directly attacking and sealing one's "Saketsu (鎖結, Chain Binding)" and "Hakusui (鎖結, Soul Sleep)" in one strike. The movement is so fast that an opponent may not be able to tell whether he was attacked from the front or the back and even an outside observer may find it impossible to tell what the movements are. This is a one hit KO if the person is unable to dodge or block. The user must have Tier 4 Shunpo and will attack at that speed. Can be blocked or seen if with 40 speed of the user.
